The DebSoc is IIT Indore’s own Debating Society. We seek to be the “Society for the promotion of the speaking arts.” 

The structure of DebSoc is quite different from rest of the clubs and societies at IIT Indore. At DebSoc we have many committees like ‘The Standing committee’, ‘Media’, ‘Speaker Selection’ and many more.

These committees manage all the activities inside the society and take all the important decisions. Unlike other clubs at this college, you as a member of DebSoc are not expected to work for the Society, but work on yourself. You will also get the chance to be a part of the committees and also lead them but all in due time. So as a DebSoc member you will just participate in debates, group discussion, word wars, attend useful workshops, enjoy and improve yourself.

As Nelson Mandela said, "Don't raise your voice, improve your argument."  And we here are ready to help you!
